Photo courtesy of WACHarrisburg Saturday Sept. 16, the Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking (CGUP), the Bowers Writers House, the Turkic American Alliance, Harrisburg Academy, Hilton Harrisburg and the Midtown Scholar Bookstore sponsored the annual International Peace Symposium and “Peacemaker in our Midst” Awards. The 2017 International Peace Symposium was dedicated to Dr. Ebrahim Yazdi.

New Theatre Endorsement program available to Education Department students

A team of faculty and staff recently secured Elizabethtown College a $300,000 humanities grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Elizabethtown College Alumni Council held its winter meeting this past Saturday, Feb. 4. The Alumni Council meets four times per year and represents the entire Elizabethtown College Alumni Association (ECAA). Saturday’s meeting took place in the Susquehanna Room in Myer Residence Hall at 9 a.m. A continental breakfast was available starting at 8:30 a.m.

Strikwerda, sent out a campus-wide email in regards to the immigration ban enacted by President Donald Trump per an executive order on Jan. 27.
