In 2007, the Elizabethtown College women’s volleyball team clinched the win over Gallaudet University in five sets, beginning a streak that lasted nine games and took the Blue Jays to the seasonal Commonwealth Tournament as the number one seed. Etown then shut out Widener University and went on to win the championship, beating Lebanon Valley College 3-0. Senior Stacey Wasserman was named conference tournament MVP.

The Jays went on to sweep Neumann University and moved on in the season before getting eliminated by the Haverford College Fords. Head coach Randall Kreider was named MAC Commonwealth coach of the year, while seniors Wasserman and Kelly Downs ’08 were both given honorable mentions. Etown ended the season with 32 wins, the fifth most in program history.
