Recently, Elizabethtown College junior Nick Pliny was named the Landmark Conference Associate Member Representative for the NCAA Division III Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Nick Pliny is a two sport athlete at the College, playing on the men’s volleyball team and the men’s soccer team.

This position requires student athlete feedback and for information to be sent from the Landmark Conference to its partner the Centennial Conference via representative, who is also the head of the SAAC for the Centennial and Landmark Conferences. Pilny will also be reviewing legislation, identifying significant student-athlete issues, implementing national student-athlete based initiatives, encouraging community outreach and enhancing Division III student-athlete involvement and understanding.

This will not only help the student athletes, but also the SAAC to make decisions with input from student athletes.
