Welcome to the jungle

Welcome to the jungle

Hi, I’m Charlie! I’m so excited! My mom, Korinne is coming home this weekend. I’m a pomeranian mixed with a fox terrier. I’m 12 weeks old and I’ve been with Korinne’s family for about 3 weeks. I’ve been known to be the size of a football.

My family picked me up a few weeks ago and took me home. My mom carried me in the car for the majority of the car ride home. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to spend much time with her because she had to go back to Elizabethtown College. That’s why I’m so excited to see her this weekend and spend the rest of the semester with her. Hopefully, I can get her through her finals. Right now, I’m helping my mom’s siblings get through their school work, so I should be able to do the same thing. It’s just sitting on Zoom calls right?

I love playing with my toys, especially my tug of war rope. I’ve been trying to play with my older brother, Cadence. He isn’t the biggest fan of me. He thinks I’m stealing all of the attention.  To be honest, I look up to Cadence and learn from him how to walk on a leash and play fetch.  When I’m not playing, I’m chewing on the couch. My family is trying to make me stop, but it tastes so good! Now that I think about, that might sound weird for you to hear.

Speaking of playing, I love playing with my best friend, Dexter. He is a family friend and he comes over a lot. We love chasing each other through the yard. Days with Dexter are always good days. It’s really hard for Dexter to leave, because we outrun our families so that we can hang out longer. Maybe when my mom comes home, Dexter can meet her too.

Oh, currently, I’m improving on my tricks. I have “sit” under my collar, but I need to work on “stay.” After I learn “stay,” I’m going to learn “lay down.” I think that would be easier to learn than “stay.”

For Thanksgiving, we’re going over to my mom’s grandparents’ house. I think I’m going to come with so my first Thanksgiving should be awesome! I heard so much about their turkey making skills so I cannot wait! I also want to do some Black Friday shopping at a pet store. I’m looking to treat myself with another rope and some treats. Hopefully, we get there in time before they’re all sold out.

Well, I have got to get going! My family wants to go over the move out procedure one more time before we go pick up my mom. Enjoy your break, Etown!
