Welcome to the jungle

Welcome to the jungle

Hiii! I’m Atina and this is my big bro, Zeus! We just got on campus a few weeks ago and we live with our step-brother, Al. He’s been here since the start of the semester and he’s been nice to us even since we got here.

Zeus and I were adopted during a trip to a pet store and I guess we were too cute to pass up on.  During the car ride home, which was a little bumpy, we heard a lot about how cool Elizabethtown College is. My mom has already been here for a year, so she could teach us the ropes. We may be snails, but we pick things up quickly.

I think my favorite activity is hanging out on this huge rock in our home. It’s almost the size of Mount Everest. Zeus thinks it’s not that big, but to me, it’s HUGE. Zeus, the show off over there, says that he’s been to the top of the rock several times. He mainly hangs out on the bamboo, so I get the rock all to myself. Zeus and Al use the bamboo as little hammocks and they chill out there in the afternoon and night. We also have a cute little elephant that I like to ride sometimes. I did knock him over once, trying to climb his trunk.

I do wish my tank was a little bigger because of the three of us. I may be tiny, but a girl’s gotta have her own space. Maybe I can ask my mom to get us a bigger tank for Christmas. That way the boys can have their side and I can have my side. Also, I can’t wait to decorate my home with some lights and a little tree for the holidays.

I wish I could stay longer on campus or gotten here a little sooner. I haven’t seen a lot of campus, but so far, I love it here. Hopefully, my mom will let me come back to campus.
