Hey! I’m Dave! How do I look in this sweater? Yes, I need to wear a sweater because I have no fur. I thought that that would have been obvious. It does get in the way when I’m trying to take a bath, though. I really should invest in some lotion to make my skin nice and smooth.  

I’ve been with my mom for a while now. We’ve been together for five years and my family has grown with me. I started out with two other siblings and now I have six, including a dog. My mom likes to take in as many rescues as she can. I was found at a shelter where my grandma was working and she immediately brought me home without a second thought. My mom took some time to adjust to the fact I didn’t have any fur, but now I’m one of her favorites.

Now that my mom is home all the time, we get to hang out a lot. I just wish she didn’t have a lot of homework all the time. She went to Elizabethtown College last year and took classes on campus. This semester she’s home and taking classes online. It was okay with her not being around as my siblings kept me company. I would say it’s better to see my mom all the time. I try to make sure not to hang out with her while she’s in class so that she can focus. My other siblings like to bother her,  but somehow she manages.

I occasionally like to venture outdoors on a leash, though it makes me look like a dog, which is eh. I mostly love to climb onto counter tops and cuddle underneath a blanket with my mom. My favorite sibling would be JJ. We curl up together on the couch and watch TV together. 

This sounds weird, but my favorite snack is Taco Bell. The cheese just has a different texture than the normal food I eat. Of course, I don’t get it a lot, but it’s still good. Even if it’s not Taco Bell, any human food is better than cat food. It just is. I know, I know I should stick to regular cat food.

Oh, going back to my sweaters, I’m really excited for the colder weather. I go all out for Christmas and my outfits. I get to choose what to dress up as and it’s really cute. I like Halloween and all, but Christmas is where it’s at. Sweaters are also just really cozy and comfy to curl up in and watch the snow fall. I’m sure there’s going to be snow on campus soon enough! Maybe I’ll be able to venture out into the first snow and pounce on the snowflakes. I guess the falling leaves will have to do for now. Yea, that’s true, they do make great practice for the real deal.
