Elizabethtown College to host halftime show at 38th Marshmallow Game

Blue Jay and music fans rejoice! Elizabethtown College has partnered with Bad Bunny to take part in a halftime show at the 38th annual Marshmallow Game in 2026. With the annual game coming back to Elizabethtown for the 2026 season, the Blue Jays decided to give the fans something else to cheer for by bringing the six-time Grammy award-winning Puerto Rican superstar to the small town in Pennsylvania for a one-night concert.

Bad Bunny, otherwise known as Benito Ocasio, has decided to return from his tour in Europe to make his first concert appearance in America since the Super Bowl a few months ago. The performance will be held in between the halves at the men’s soccer Marshmallow Game, featuring a small platform and a microphone to present the artist on the biggest stage that we have. The artist plans to have a set list featuring six songs including DtMf, Titi Me Pregunto and Monaco, among others.

Bad Bunny with his wrestling experience is prepared to dodge any potential marshmallow projectiles and bring his best performance since the Super Bowl. The performance itself will be broadcast on FloCollege from around 8 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. The game will be before and after the scheduled concert time, however, the viewing will be expected to surge around the timeframe for the concert.

Etown brought in Bad Bunny to bring the college out to more sporting events and engage all students in the sports around campus. Despite the admission to the games typically being free, Etown has decided to enforce a ticket limit and a price for the event due to the expected high volume of customers. The ticket prices will start at $500 and will increase by $100 for every row closer to the field. With the terrain that is around the field including the hills and the quads behind, Etown hopes to reduce the amount of unpaid viewers by adding Bad Bunny’s security around the perimeter of the field and a large tarp placed in front of the windows of the quad. If you would like to sit in the grass or on the hill for the concert, the tickets are $150 each and come with a complementary paper towel to wipe yourself off with once you finish sitting on the freshly cut lawn. If you plan on staying for the beginning and remainder of the game, you will get priority on seating for the Marshmallow Game.

Unfortunately due to budget restraints, Charlie Puth was not able to come to sing the national anthem for the game and the flyover will be one paper airplane thrown from the top of the broadcast booth at Ira R. Herr Field.

Etown hopes to break the record for the highest attendance for a Division III game which was 45,161 at a Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland football game in 2019. The biggest question is where will everyone park? Etown is asking the faculty at the college to work as the parking crew to park people on the street, in the lots and on the grass fields near the college to accommodate for all of the cars entering and exiting Elizabethtown. Those who will work the parking crew will receive a $5 discount on their ticket upon entry into the event. After the concert, the parking crew will be redeployed to ensure that almost all of the fans leave safely shortly after the halftime show ends.

Etown will host Bad Bunny in Fall 2026 and will play Messiah College in soccer before and after the concert.
