Alumni Council meets, discusses first draft of new Strategic Plan

The Elizabethtown College Alumni Council held its winter meeting this past Saturday, Feb. 4. The Alumni Council meets four times per year and represents the entire Elizabethtown College Alumni Association (ECAA). Saturday’s meeting took place in the Susquehanna Room in Myer Residence Hall at 9 a.m. A continental breakfast was available starting at 8:30 a.m.

Monday, Jan. 30, the President of Elizabethtown College, Carl J. Strikwerda, sent out a campus-wide email in regards to the immigration ban enacted by President Donald Trump per an executive order on Jan. 27. The executive order, titled, “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry,” mentions the suspension of travel with visas and green cards

Stitch2Serve holds campus yarn drive

The Elizabethtown College Stitch2Serve Club invites students, faculty and staff to participate in their winter yarn drive. The club will accept donations until Monday, Feb. 13. All donations will go toward club projects that will help those in need. Donation boxes can be found in the academic buildings, the BSC and St. Paul’s United Methodist

Prospective students compete for business scholarships
