Local resident implements service initiative
Michelle McIntrye-Brewer was one of 13 recipients to receive the 2011 Presidential Citizenship Medal. McIntyre-Brewer is a 2001 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, Pa. who now lives in Maryland. 107 member states vote Palestine full member of UNESCO
Monday, Oct. 31, the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) voted to admit Palestine as a full member.
