Welcome, Blue Jays, to the 2020-21 school year! I am very excited to be working again with The Etownian, and though we have a few updates to our procedures, we will still be reporting news from campus, the community and nation-wide, especially leading up to the presidential election.

This semester, The Etownian will be operating completely remotely, and as such, we will only be publishing our content online. Visit us at www.etownian.com, and keep an eye on your inboxes, as we are also working on sending out a campus-wide email so that our content is readily available to the entire campus. We want to make sure everyone still has access to the paper even though we are not printing physical copies this semester.

We are also calling for weekly Letters to the Editor (LTE) that can be about any topic you want, but if you are looking for more direction, we are posting prompts on social media with weekly themes. We want to incorporate more student, faculty and staff voices this semester, especially as we operate remotely. LTEs can be emailed to editor@etown.edu; we look forward to hearing from you!

I hope you all stay safe, whether you are back on campus or are staying remote this semester. During these times, I wanted to make The Etownian as accessible as possible while reporting on important events and other content you are used to seeing from us. I hope you all have a wonderful semester, and we look forward to where the semester takes us!
