Hi there! My name is Cranberry Juice, but you can call me C.J. My owners, Brooke Seislove and Meghan Murray, named me after Lizzo’s song “Juice.” They’re kinda weird like that, but my name fits! It took them forever to decide on a name, but perfection takes time! I even have my own bottle of cranberry juice next to my tank. I’ve never tried it, but it looks good!
My “Got You” date, as my owners call it, is August 23rd. Meghan tells me that I’m a Virgo! She’s really into astrology and says that it makes sense that I am a Virgo. They got me at That Fish Place. That’s the actual name, I swear to Posiedon! Brooke and Meghan went to a lot of different fish places before they found me, and then spent over an hour trying to choose the perfect fish, so I’m glad they finally adopted me.
My tank is pretty awesome! I have a seahorse friend who I love. My favorite place to hang out is a star cave. If you can’t find me, usually I’m hiding in there! The best part of my tank is my plant! I had a different one last year, but I think I like this one better. Brooke and Meghan have a light for me so that I can see. They turn it off for my bedtime. It’s this special routine that we have that I love.
This is my second year back at Etown. I guess you could call me a sophomore! I’m back in Schlosser Residence Hall, and I really like it here! I have my own section on my Brooke and Meghan’s dressers where I call home. I have a few belongings like my cranberry juice, a little dinosaur and some Peppa Pig figurines. I don’t really like Peppa that much, but I tolerate her because Brooke likes her. That does not stop me from flaring my gills when I see Peppa though.
Over breaks, I really miss Meghan because Brooke takes me home. Meghan’s mom doesn’t allow me at her house, but Brooke’s house is awesome! Her mom is very nice to me.
One of my favorite people here is my godparent, Chandler McGuire. She always gives me an extra food pebble secretly but Meghan or Brooke usually catches her. That’s okay though as long as I get a treat!
Overall, I really love living in Etown! I can’t wait to see what adventures I’ll have. I love meeting new people, so come stop by my room on the first floor of Schlosser if you want to see me! I have my own door tag, so that’s how you’ll know you have the right room!
