Do I have to do this interview now? Can’t it wait til tomorrow? I guess… Hi, I’m Hayley. Yea, I was excited for talking to you about stuff, but now, eh… It’s fine; we can continue.
Let’s see, I’ve been with my dad, Jackson, since 2009. I easily moved in with the family and have been with them ever since. I would have to say that I love my granddad the most. I get kinda nervous when he’s not around, but everyone else makes sure that I’m fine. Nope, I didn’t see much of a difference when my dad moved to college. I still had his parents to look after me and keep me company.
My favorite toy is my moose. I’ve had it ever since I could remember. I take him everywhere with me. He’s practically my napping buddy. Don’t judge. I know he’s a little gross as he also makes a great anxiety reliever. I feel that. This time of the semester is the worst. The warm air is making it so much harder to concentrate now. Makes me want to curl up and take a nap… Sorry? What was the next question?
I had a great Easter break; I spent most of the time sleeping and relaxing with the family. Hey, a day without a nap is a day wasted in my opinion. Yea, I was excited to find out my dad was coming home for the break. Funny enough, I kinda ran towards him a few feet then walked up the rest of the way. I was sleeping when my dad came home. I guess my legs decided to not wake up all the way. Honestly, I made him walk the last few feet to get my welcome home pets. We mostly hung out and caught up with each other. My dad lives less than an hour from campus so I could theoretically visit him whenever. I should do that with this nice weather and before he graduates. I’ve got two more years left.
Oh, here’s a good Easter story: two years ago, I was helping with an Easter egg hunt. My dad’s cousins were over and they were running around the yard. I spotted an egg and sprinted across, trying to get it before someone else did. One of the cousins crashed into me, causing his basket to go flying. But I quickly recovered and got my egg. Honestly, it was kinda funny. That might be why we stopped having Easter egg hunts. It is a great excuse to take a nap though.
Nope, I don’t have any plans yet for the summer. Though it may consist of naps. I don’t know yet, but maybe I’ll go outside more. I definitely will hang out with my dad before he goes back to school. Anything else you want to know?
Well, in that case, that’s it from me… come on, Moose, let’s go take a nap. See ya later!
