Welcome to the Jungle

Welcome to the Jungle

Tobi: Hi! I’m ready to be interviewed! Everyone’s gonna love me and want to meet me!

Luna: Are you sure? We don’t even know these people.

Mabel: Luna, you’re fine, it’s gonna be fine. Mom’s literally right there. Can I go first? Sorry, I just have a meeting with a very important nap this afternoon.

Tobi: Fine, Mabel. Go ahead.

Mabel: Yay! So, I’m Mabel, I’m the newest and youngest puppy of the group. We were all rescued from shelters. I like to spend my time taking naps and hanging out on the couch. No, I don’t need to lose weight, it’s fluff. That’s basically it. Now to find a nice place to take a nap…

Tobi: Alright, I’m next. I’m Tobi and my birthday is coming up!! So, I’m excited for that. I think I love photoshoots. My mom sometimes doesn’t do a great job of capturing my beauty and perfection, so she has to take a few more. Believe me, I let her know if we need more pictures.  Who doesn’t want more pictures of me? Like Mabel said, we’re adopted. I actually was adopted when I was a puppy. I saw my mom’s sister and immediately knew to go home with them. I curled up into her lap and wouldn’t let go. Thankfully, my message got through and I was taken home. I was the first one adopted out of the three of us. It definitely got better when Luna came around.  It’s nice to have someone else to play with. Luna, you ready?

Luna: Yea, I guess. I’m Luna. I like hanging out with my mom. Umm, I think I like anything that involves hanging out with my mom or my other family members. I don’t like cooking. I’m sorry, but the house can easily go up in flames at any minute if someone isn’t watching the food. I get it that humans like heated food, but please monitor the food. I really hate the smoke alarm too. It’s scary. One time I walked in on my mom while she was in class since her parents were making lunch. It was really scary. But I did get to experience an Elizabethtown College class. Oh, my mom is a biology major with an allied health concentration. She’s a sophomore, but she transferred from another college. To be honest, Etown sounds a lot better.

Tobi: We haven’t been to campus yet, but we heard nice things about Etown. Our mom might bring us down once the weather warms up. Though I personally like the idea of car rides, but like ten minutes in, I am ready for it to be over.

Luna: Agreed. I think I could do the hour-long drive when I can stick my head out the window.

Tobi: I think that’s it from me. Luna?

Luna: Nope, I got nothing. Mabel?

Mabel: Whaaaa…?

Luna: Anything else you wanna say?

Mabel: Just that you ruined my nappp…

Luna: Alright, bye!
