After beginning remote learning in March of this year due to the pandemic, my experiences were nothing but positive. This sentiment is one that I have heard echoed by friends and classmates alike throughout the semester, and currently it still stands. Even though I am back on campus, friends off campus tell me that their remote learning experiences are still great for them, with no major issues – even as professors juggle in-person and online sessions at the same time.

That being said, in a unique situation like the pandemic, it also makes me think about how lucky I am to attend a small school such as Elizabethtown College. The return to campus guidelines are strong, and as far as I hear, remote learning experiences still are as well, so I think that is wonderful and so beneficial for our community. On that note, as a result, I am very pleased at the level of guidance from President McCormick and the Senior Leadership Team since this all began in March. The administration has been very transparent and vocal about all current happenings relating to campus life, which I am sure many other Blue Jays appreciate as well.

All in all, I was pleased with my remote learning experience last semester and many of my friends and fellow classmates were as well from what I heard. It’s great to be back on campus and I’m looking forward to this semester!
