Horoscopes: What Thanksgiving symbol is your zodiac?

The end of fall is approaching quickly, and the spirit of Thanksgiving is in the air. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, most people still celebrate central themes of it like spending time with family and having gatherings. Since it’s almost time for the fall holiday, why not see what symbol matches the zodiac signs?

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): The Mayflower is the well-known ship that carried the Pilgrims from England to the new world. Scorpio gets the Mayflower since they too can act as a supportive person. Scorpio seem closed off but are actually very open and helpful to their cherished ones.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Turkeys are creatures with abundant uses, such as their meat and wishbones being a Thanksgiving tradition. Turkey is given to Sagittarius since both possess endless possibilities. Sagittarius knows no limits, always striving to stretch further and further in their pursuits.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 – Jan. 20): Pilgrim hats are an iconic fashion item which the original pilgrims actually wore. Capricorn gets the pilgrim hat due to embodying traits of how  behaved: disciplined, proactive and resilient. Capricorns are ambitious individuals, perfect for starting projects and seeing them through.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 18): Acorns are almost never identical, always different sizes and having ridges from falling off trees. Aquarius is like acorns in that manner, unique and irreplaceable. Aquarius is individualistic in a good way, knowing who they are and what they are worth.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Pumpkin pie is a sweet treat on many people’s tables for Thanksgiving and even at Christmas. Pumpkin pie, like Pisces, is a pleasant but overwhelming presence. Pisces don’t try to overwhelm; they just have a lot of emotions and need to express them.

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Football is a Thanksgiving pastime for many, whether it be personally playing it with loved ones or watching the big game. Aries’ fiery temper matches football well since both are strong and powerful. Aries’ ambition can be well used to start ventures, but they must be careful it doesn’t burn out halfway through.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Gourds are often a fall crop used to decorate houses alongside pumpkins. The earthly vibe of gourds matches Taurus well since both are stubborn and grow on their own time. Taurus embodies the Earth and ground well since they have a stable presence.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Cranberries are often on the Thanksgiving dinner table, specifically cranberry sauce. Cranberries are like Gemini in the sense that you either love them or hate them. Gemini have their two sides, which can lead people to have strong feelings negatively or positively towards them.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Corn is a nourishing crop which is good for any time of year but is especially popular at Thanksgiving. Corn and Cancers are both homely in essence, sustaining the ones they encounter. Cancers value their personal relationships above all else, sometimes even over themselves.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Candles are a great way to warm up any space, especially during the cold months. Leo is like candles in the way that they brighten up a room by themselves. Leo naturally has a radiant aura about them, attracting all who encounter them.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22): Cornucopias are a symbol of abundance used especially often around Thanksgiving. Virgo gets cornucopias since they are seen as having the entirety of Earth’s harvest at their hands. Virgo embodies all that is nourishing and needed for growth, making them very productive people.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22): Wheat sheafs are more often used to decorate nowadays but are still a legitimate way to bundle cereal crops. Wheat sheafs are similar to Libra since both are one with the wind, being influenced and swayed. Libra lets themselves be pulled and pushed by the wind but still regains who they are and their values.
