If you’ve just gotten rid of a bunch of clothes that no longer fit or you’ve decided to revamp your style, Frugal Finds is a great place to find something unique. Frugal Finds is known for its bargain prices, variety of clothes and eclectic jewelry.
The first time I went to Frugal Finds was before my first year at Elizabethtown College. Since I am a commuter, my mom and I decided to drive up to Elizabethtown a few days before classes started. I wanted to get an idea of the area and the fun places I could go to with the new friends I made. My mom and I have always loved going to thrift stores and consignment shops to find clothes not usually found in department stores. I usually keep my eye out for any clothes I could use to create an outfit for the Renaissance Faire.
When walking down Market Street, I just happened to see a set of chainmail armor mail out of soda tabs in the window and insisted we check the place out. Though it ended up being out of my price range, I still found two shirts and a belt that I could wear to the Renaissance Faire. After paying for my purchase, the cashier also included a coupon for the next time I came in.
I have continued to go to Frugal Finds with my friends and found quite a few items for the Renaissance Faire, as well as everyday clothes that I really love. I even got my favorite pair of mushroom earrings from there!
I realized I hadn’t been back to Frugal Finds yet this semester, so I decided to go back with my friend, multicultural human services major Judas Foster. The service was great, very friendly and always ready to help find something for us.
It’s a great place for Etown students to go since you have a discount if you have your school ID on you, and you can get a punch card reward system that will keep you coming back for more.
“There’s just so many things in there, you turn your eye and there’s ten more things to look at!” Foster said.
Frugal Finds has spacious aisles and is thoughtfully organized for your shopping ease. There is always something new to find, whether you are looking for something retro, vintage or antique. Stop by to check out anything from eccentric clothing to quality housewares!
