Recently, the sports department was thinking of adding a professional ice skating team that would skate on Lake Placida. For the longest time, ice skating on Lake Placida has not been allowed, but the sports department has been considering revoking the rule so people can have a fun, new way to enjoy themselves during the winter when the lake freezes over.

After the recent snowstorms, debates about revoking the no skating rule have been taking place once again. It is important to note that OSA will not be providing skates, so you will have to bring your own. Ice hockey will be discussed after getting permission to allow students to ice skate on the frozen lake.
